Magnet in the backNever touch a gas pump handle again.
GripFuel is a one-piece silicone mitt with a magnet in the back. It lives inside your fuel door. Peel it off, fill up, stick it back — nothing to throw away, nothing to remember to bring.
- Sticks inside your fuel door — it's already there when you need it
- Reusable: rinse it off and it's ready for the next fill
- Free US shipping and 90 days to send it back
Three seconds, twice a week.
There's nothing to learn, nothing to charge, and nothing you have to remember to bring with you.
Peel it off
It's already inside your fuel door, held there by the magnet in its back. Opening the door puts it in your hand.
Grab the pump
Your hand goes in like a mitt and you squeeze the trigger through it. The handle never touches your skin.
Stick it back
Fold it over, press it to the metal, close the door. That's it until the next fill-up.
A glove you left at home isn't a glove.
Everyone has tried the box of disposables in the trunk. It works twice. Then it's under the jumper cables, or you're already standing at the pump when you remember it exists.
GripFuel isn't a better glove. It's a glove that's already where the problem happens. The magnet in its back holds it to the steel inside your fuel door, so the same movement that opens the door hands you the mitt. There's no step where you had to have planned ahead.
- Opening the fuel door puts it straight in reach
- Nothing to restock and nothing to run out of
- Folds flat enough to shut the door on
What you're actually getting
One moulded silicone mitt. No app, no refills, no subscription.
Magnet moulded in
A flat magnet sits inside the back panel. Nothing glued on, nothing to peel off in six months.
One piece of silicone
Moulded in a single piece, so there are no seams to come apart and nothing for grime to collect in.
Washable
Warm water and dish soap, then air dry. It goes back in the door and you forget about it again.
Folds flat
About the size of a folded wallet once it's closed up, which is why it fits behind the fuel door at all.
The four other options
Every one of them works. Each one has the same failure — it depends on you having planned for this particular moment.

It sticks to steel. Not every fuel door is steel.
Most cars have a steel panel in or behind the fuel door and the magnet holds there without any trouble. Some don't. Plenty of aluminium-bodied trucks and a few newer EVs use aluminium or plastic there, and a magnet won't hold on either of those.
You can settle it in ten seconds before you spend anything: open your fuel door and touch a fridge magnet to the metal inside. If it holds, GripFuel holds. If it doesn't, the mitt still does its actual job from the door pocket or the console — and if you'd rather not keep it, send it back within 90 days.
- Test your car with any fridge magnet before you order
- Still works as a plain mitt where the magnet won't hold
- 90 days to change your mind either way
One for your car. Two if there's another driver.
The same mitt in every pack. The only things that change are the price per glove and how many times you have to think about this again.
Per-glove figures are the pack price divided by the count, and the savings figure is measured against our own single-glove price. Nothing on this page is compared to a made-up list price.
The things people ask before buying
Including the two we'd rather you knew before you order than after.
How long does delivery take?
Two to four weeks to most US addresses. We ship direct from the manufacturer rather than paying to warehouse stock in the States, and that's the reason a moulded silicone mitt costs what it costs here.
You'll get a tracking link by email once it's moving. If it hasn't turned up 30 days after you ordered, email us and we'll refund you — you won't have to argue about it.
Will the magnet stick to my car?
If there's steel in or behind your fuel door, yes. Most cars have it.
Some don't — aluminium-bodied trucks and some newer EVs use aluminium or plastic there, and no magnet holds to either. Touch a fridge magnet to the metal inside your fuel door before you order and you'll know in ten seconds. If it doesn't hold, the mitt still works fine kept in the door pocket.
Will it fit my hand?
One size. It's a mitt, not a fitted glove — your hand slides in and your fingers close around the pump trigger through the silicone, so it doesn't need to match your hand the way a glove does. It works for most adult hands, including with a jacket sleeve.
Does it make refuelling safer?
No, and we won't pretend otherwise. GripFuel is a hand covering and not a safety device. It isn't rated for handling fuel, and it changes nothing about static, fumes or fire risk.
Follow the safety instructions posted at the pump — including not getting back into your car while the nozzle is running, which is the one most people ignore.
Can I leave it stuck to the outside of the car?
Don't. The magnet is sized to hold a folded mitt against a panel, not to survive a highway. Keep it behind the closed fuel door, which is where it's meant to live.
How do I clean it?
Warm water and dish soap, then let it air dry before you fold it away. Silicone is non-porous, so nothing soaks in and there's nothing to launder.
What if I don't want it?
Email us within 90 days and we'll refund you. We won't ask you to post the glove back — return postage on something this small usually costs more than the glove, and making you pay it would just be a way of not honouring the refund.
Who's behind this?
A small operation selling one product. There's no call centre — email reaches the person who runs it, and you'll get a reply within one business day.
Your next fill-up is about four days away.
You'll do this a few hundred more times before you're done with this car. There's no particular reason to keep doing it with your bare hands.
